Former Vols who saw limited action in Week 14

Michael Palardy – P – New England Patriots

It was just his fourth week back, and Michael Palardy averaged 42.17 yards per punt on six punts, pinning two inside the 20 as the New England Patriots beat the Arizona Cardinals 27-13. Palardy is saving the Punter U title for Tennessee football.

Jalen Reeves-Maybin – LB – Houston Texans

In a 27-23 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, Jalen Reeves-Maybin played 1 percent of the defensive snaps and was in on 82 percent of the special teams plays, recording no stats.

Matthew Butler – DL – Las Vegas Raiders

While Kendal Vickers was released, Matthew Butler remains on the Raiders’ defensive line. He played 6 percent of defensive snaps in their 17-16 loss to Rams.

Theo Jackson – DB – Minnesota Vikings

Appearing in on 83 percent of special teams plays, Theo Jackson recorded no stats in the Minnesota Vikings’ 34-23 loss to the Lions.

Cade Mays – OL – Carolina Panthers

A third straight Tennessee football rookie on here, joining Butler and Jackson, Cade Mays’ reps continue to slightly increase. He played 7 percent of offensive snaps and was in on 21 percent of special teams plays in the Panthers’ 30-24 win over the Seahawks.

Morgan Cox – LS – Tennessee Titans

As the Tennessee Titans lost their third straight game, falling to the Jacksonville Jaguars 36-22, Morgan Cox was in on five special teams snaps. He snapped for three punts, as Ryan Stonehouse averaged 50 yards per punt, and he snapped for two extra points. Randy Bullock made both.
