Tennessee Lady Vols vs. UCF: Live stream, time, TV, radio
For the first time this season after an incredibly rocky start, the Tennessee Lady Vols will take the court with a winning record Wednesday night. They will also do so attempting to put together their first three-game winning streak of the year.
Kellie Harper’s team welcomes the UCF Knights to town. UT is coming off a 96-57 win over the Wright State Raiders this past Sunday, which followed a 69-39 win over the Chattanooga Mocs eight days ago. This is their second game after the news that Tamari Key would be out for the year.
UCF, meanwhile, comes into this meeting on a two-game losing streak after starting the year undefeated before that. They most recently lost 63-56 to the Seton Hall Pirates Sunday and fell to the Auburn Tigers 86-46 before that. Here is all the information you need for the Tennessee Lady Vols’ matchup.

Led by first-year head coach Sytia Messer, UCF has had to replace all but one of its eight rotational players from last year’s team that went 26-4, won the American Athletic Conference regular season and tournament championship and reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Destiny Thomas is that one returner.
Katie Abrahamson-Henderson, who led that team, has since taken over the Georgia Bulldogs. The emergence of sophomores Laila Jewett and Taylor Gibson, who hardly played last year, the return of Rachel Ranke, who missed last year due to injury, have helped with the transition.
UCF also has three newcomers. Two are freshmen in Bryana Hardy and Sierra Godbolt. They also added Georgia Southern Eagles transfer Mya Burns. Those three combined with the four returning players have made for a solid rotation that Messer has to work with early on this year.
UT, meanwhile, is still trying to find its rotation in what should have been the most loaded team of the year at the start of the season. Losing Key for the season due to blood clots in her lungs has made matters a bit more straightforward for Harper in the post.
This is the second straight year these two have met. Last year, Rocky Top held off UCF 49-41 on the road, which began a strong early-season run of theirs with Rae Burrell hurt. Maybe this matchup could begin a run for them this season.
After this game, the Tennessee Lady Vols will visit the Stanford Cardinal Sunday in what should be a gigantic matchup. UCF, meanwhile, returns home for the UCF Christmas Classic in which they will host the Idaho State Bengals and Elon Phoenix next Tuesday and Wednesday.
