Former Vols who saw limited action

Jauan Jennings – WR – San Francisco 49ers

In the San Francisco 49ers’ 37-20 win over the Washington Commanders, Jauan Jennings had two catches for 21 yards. He’s continuing to show his value, which Tennessee football fans always knew he had and which shows up more in games than practice.

Joshua Palmer – WR – Los Angeles Chargers

It wasn’t what he’s been doing, but Josh Palmer was still productive for the Los Angeles Chargers in their 20-3 win over the Indianapolis Colts. He had two catches for 16 yards.

Cordarrelle Patterson – RB – Atlanta Falcons

Alvin Kamara carried the torch for Tennessee football running backs this past week. Cordarrelle Patterson had just eight carries for 17 yards and a 14-yard catch in the Atlanta Falcons’ 17-9 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

Marquez Callaway – WR – New Orleans Saints

Appearing on 48 percent of offensive snaps, Marquez Callaway had no stats, including targets or catches, in the Saints’  in 17-10 win over the Browns.

Jakob Johnson – FB – Las Vegas Raiders

While Matthew Butler didn’t play, Jakob Johnson was in on 25 percent of offensive snaps and 41 percent of special teams plays in the Raiders’ 13-10 loss to the Steelers.

Cade Mays – OL – Carolina Panthers 

Slowly working his way into the offense as a rookie, Cade Mays played 3 percent of the offensive snaps in the Carolina Panthers’ 37-23 win over the Detroit Lions.
