Tennessee sports have been firing on all cylinders, and all three of the Volunteer major sports teams have news that I am going to break down for all you Tennessee fans. In this week’s Tennessee Volunteers news, Hendon Hooker has been impressing everyone, there’s a new football coach in town, and the Senior Bowl was a success.
Then, as we shift our focus over to Tennessee basketball, where It’s almost that time of year again when cinderella story’s come true, when the unimaginable happens right in front of our eyes, during the greatest month of the year… MARCH MADNESS
Finally, Tennessee baseball is back and better than ever.

BREAKING NEWS: Tennessee is expected to hire Alec Abeln as tight ends coach, sources tell On3 Sports. Abeln has worked at Tennessee as an analyst since 2021 after previously working at Ole Miss. He was an offensive lineman at Missouri when Josh Heupel was Mizzou’s offensive coordinator.
The Latest on Tennessee Basketball
It was only a matter of time until the Tennessee basketball cooled off from the heater that they had been on. Before last night’s game, they were destroying teams left and right. It was simply just not our night, and that’s okay because luckily for Volunteer fans, it’s not march yet.
There were three big takeaways that I took from the loss… Check them out below:
Tennessee basketball narrowly defeated the Auburn Tigers by a score of 46-43 in the win yesterday. The Volunteers played one of the worst games of offense all year but were able to continuously weather the storm with their strong defense.
There are plenty of ways to dissect this game, but three big takeaways that truly stick out to me… Check them out below:
