Today is Friday, February 24th, and a shocking new video of the former Tennessee football running back, Alvin Kamara, was released earlier this week.
According to David Charns of Fox 8 News, the former Tennessee football and current New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara has been indicted by a Las Vegas grand jury. Kamara received charges of battery from a fight that broke out on the strip of Las Vegas on February 5th.
What happened?
The victim, Darnell Greene, told Las Vegas Metro police:
"“He [Darnell] was waiting outside an elevator at Drai’s After Hours nightclub alongside a group of people, including the four suspects. The nightclub is in the basement of the Cromwell.”"
Greene continued his statement and went on to talk about what started the fight:
"“Once the elevator came down I went to step on the elevator and a guy put his hands on my, on my chest like to tell me, like push me back and tell me I can’t get on the elevator,” Greene told the grand jury. “And I, um, you know, I go there, it’s not my first time there, I’ve been there a few times and everybody use [sic] the same elevator. So, when he pushed me I pushed his hands down off of my chest and then he pushed me real hard and then somebody hit me.”"
It appears that the Victim suffered many injuries from the beating, including an orbital fracture and other facial injuries. It’s unknown why Kamara acted in the way he did, or what caused such rage to go through him to beat someone the way he did.
According to ABC News, “Greene has filed a civil lawsuit in Louisiana, asking for $10 million in damages.”
