In today’s Tennessee Volunteer News breakdown, we will discuss Spyre Sports and what The Volunteer Club does for Tennessee Athletics.
2 weeks ago, The Volunteer Club achieved its goal of active members in all 50 states.
Spyre Sports is the Marketing Agency behind The Volunteer Club and they help generate money for all of the Student Athletes through NIL deals. They are also known as the main sports marketing collective in Knoxville, Tennessee.
NBC News says had this to say about Spyre Sports:
"“Has generated $4.5 million in revenue for UT athletes, through Name, Image, and Likeness deals. ‘Those might be birthday parties, a youth football camp, Christmas parties, meet and greets, and so forth,’ said Hunter Baddour, the co-founder of Spyre.”"
It was a goal for The Volunteer Club to generate members all around the country. Since July 2021, Spyre Sports has worked with over 200 different Tennessee Volunteer athletes across 11 different programs. They have generated 13.5 million dollars worth of NIL deals for these Student-Athletes.
The Volunteer Club’s mission statement is to, “Shape the future of Tennessee Together.” On their official website, they state, “Our goal is to create an elite student-athlete experience, while also providing fans a unique experience of their own.”
The Volunteer Club has over 2,320 members and is open for any passionate Vols to join.
