No. 2 best NFL Draft pick in Tennessee football history: Reggie White

1984 Supplemental Draft: Round 1, Pick 4

Memphis Showboats, 1984–1985
Philadelphia Eagles, 1985–1992
Green Bay Packers, 1993–1998
Carolina Panthers, 2000

As one of the many all-time greats to start off in the USFL’s first iteration in the 1980s, Reggie White would go on to become one of the most decorated NFL defenders in the history of the league — getting inducted into both the Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame’s en route to 13 All-Pro appearances and 2 NFL Defensive Player of the Year nods.

Holding down the defense on Brett Favre’s Super Bowl XXXI run, White solidified his legacy as “the Minister of Defense” for the Packers on their run to the top in 1996/1997. Having tragically passed away in 2004 at the age of 43, White has been honored on Rocky Top with his No. 92 retired, and his family hosted on the Shields–Watkins Field at Neyland Stadium.
