Tennessee Football All-Time Phil Fulmer Team Cornerbacks

Deon Grant  (1997-1999)
Jabari Greer (2000-2003)

Known for his exceptional athleticism, ball skills, and versatility, Deon Grant made a significant impact at cornerback. He showcased his ability to blanket receivers, break up passes, and create turnovers. Grant’s contributions were instrumental in the Vols’ run to the 1998 national championship, and he earned All-SEC and All-American honors during his college career.

Over the course of his Tennessee football career, he logged nearly 20 interceptions. That included a rather impressive nine interceptions in his final year in college in 1999. Those nine picks included 167 return yards and a touchdown.

Likewise, Jabari Greer‘s ability to stick with his assignments and make plays on the ball was evident throughout his college career. Greer’s exceptional performances earned him All-SEC recognition, and he went on to have a successful NFL career, including a Super Bowl victory with the New Orleans Saints.

That NFL career is really where Greer showed what he could do and what he learned as a member of the Tennessee football program under Phil Fulmer. He forged a 10-year career with the Buffalo Bills and New Orleans Saints.
