Tennessee Football heads to Nashville to take on the Virginia Cavaliers in just three days to kick off the 2023 season.

After what feels like an eternity, the College Football season is finally back, and Tennessee Football has had an incredible offseason. The hype surrounding the Vols will finally be put to the test this weekend against the Cavaliers.

It’s not too late to place your future bets as Week 1 of the season approaches us, so let’s dive into two of my favorites as we count down the days until the opening kickoff.

Tennessee Volunteers Over 9.5 Wins (+150)

Tennessee Football enters the season ranked No. 15, with three teams who they beat last year ahead of them. There’s simply no reason the Vols aren’t in the top 10 and the disrespect around the country will only fuel the fire behind Joe Milton and his Volunteer offense.

I recently dived into my season predictions, biggest games, and best bets. So, if you’re interested in seeing a more detailed analysis, click the link below:

But I’ll give you a sneak peek of the three biggest games here, too…

1) By far the most important game of the year: Week 11 vs. Georgia

My Prediction: Tennessee to win by 3-7 points. This game will not only be a deciding factor for the SEC Championship game but will likely be a make-or-break for the College Football Playoff…more

2) The second most important game of the year: Week 3 @ Florida

My Prediction: Currently, Vegas has the Vols at 7.5 point favorites, but I see this game being closer. I think either team will win by 1-3 points (Could go both ways). In last year’s Tennessee vs. Flordia game, the score seemed much closer than the game was. The Vols dominated from start to finish, and there was never really any doubt that Florida would come back despite it being a 5-point game at the finish…more

3) The third most crucial game of the year: Week 7: @ Alabama

My Prediction: Either team to win by 1-3 points (Could go both ways). There is still uncertainty in Alabama as to who will even start at QB this year, so maybe the powerhouse Crimson Tide won’t be as good this year, but I doubt it. Rivalry games will be close no matter who is out on the field, and being away from Neyland isn’t helping Tennessee Football this year…more

If Tennessee wins just ONE of these three games this year, they will likely be locked in to finish the season at 10-2. I like this bet a lot, and I think the value at +150 is worth taking.

Tennessee Volunteers to Win the SEC East (+500)

This bet is strictly based on value. If Tennessee Football doesn’t get upset by any wildcard teams that I don’t see coming, all they have to do to cash this in is to beat Georgia this year.

Right now, the Vols are sitting around +200 in the home game this season in week 11 against Georgia, so if you’re thinking about taking it, why not take the Vols to win the East right now?

Crazy things can happen along the road to the game against Georgia. Still, I’m finding it hard to believe the road to the SEC championship doesn’t go through Neyland Stadium this year.
