Tennessee Football will be tested this weekend when they travel to Gainesville to take on the Florida Gators.

It’s no surprise that the Vols are favored in this week 3 SEC showdown; however, Vegas has already started to move this line in favor of the Gators after a somewhat disappointing victory last weekend for the Volunteers against Austin Peay.

The betting line opened up at -8.5 for the Vols and has since moved down to -6 on some sportsbooks. More often than not, a line to move this much without any significant injuries means that the public money is all over Florida to cover Saturday night. Closer to game time, I will have a complete breakdown on the spread and moneyline and where the value is, but in the meantime, let’s dive into our five favorite prop bets for this weekend’s matchup.

3. Montrell Johnson Jr. U60.5 Rushing Yards (-110)

Johnson and Etienne split carries for the Gators, and in a game where I feel like they will be relying heavily on the pass game, I feel pretty confident that feeding Johnson will end the way it did against Utah in week 1.

Against Utah, Florida threw the ball 44 times and only handed the ball off to Johnson 3 times and gained 6 yards. While this is only one game to look off of, I imagine that if the Volunteers get off to a quick lead, his carries will diminish, and this line has the under written all over it.

2. Joe Milton Anytime Rushing Touchdown (+170)

In week one against Virginia, Joe Milton had two rushing touchdowns, and in week two against Austin Peay, he had 1 rushing touchdown. It’s no secret that Milton knows how to use his legs, and I see this trend continuing into week three against the Gators.

When the Vols are in the redzone, you can count on the Swamp being loud and distracting, but when Milton feels that pressure, he has shown in the past that he tends to take it under his control and make plays happen with his legs. He is an elusive runner and is not scared to take it himself, and at +170 odds, I love this bet and think it has a good chance of happening.

1. Joe Milton O1.5 Pass Touchdowns (-180)

I think that this game will be high-scoring, and the Volunteers’ offense will finally come alive when they need it most. Milton could cover this prop in his sleep, and ever since taking over Tennessee Football’s offense in the Orange Bowl last year, he has gone over this prop in all three games.

All game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
