Tennessee Football played an outstanding game this past weekend against South Carolina and moved to 4-1.

Neyland Stadium was electric on Saturday Night, and Tennessee Football had one thing on their minds… revenge. Hendon Hooker was in the building, and it made it even more of an emotional win for the Volunteers after South Carolina ended not only their season but Hendon Hooker’s season last year with a devastating injury.

There are several takeaways from the Vols statement win on Saturday. Let’s dive into the three biggest ones as Tennessee Football heads into their much-needed week six buy week.

3) Home Field Advantage

Neyland Stadium and the Tennessee Football fanbase are like no other. They showed it last year against Alabama and showed it this weekend against South Carolina. I’m truly convinced that there is not a single team they can’t beat this year at home. I mean, seriously, if you don’t believe me, just watch this video:

Neyland was rocking all night long, caused penalty after penalty, and made Spencer Rattler’s night a living hell. Rattler was under so much pressure that he even mentioned in his post-game press conference that this was like our “Super Bowl,” but in reality, that’s just how loud Rocky Top gets on gameday.

Looking ahead at the rest of the Tennessee football schedule, there are two more big home games for the Vols and three more big away games. The home games are Texas A&M in two weeks and then Georgia in the second to last game of the season. The Vols also have to go to Alabama, Missouri, and Kentucky, who are all ranked in the top 25 currently.

The rest of the Vols’ schedule is far from easy, but if they can take care of business away from Neyland, I have faith that Rocky Top will come through and help the Vols get the two victories at home.
