2) Bru McCoy’s Injury

When the Volunteers’ offense finally started to find its rhythm, their No. 1 target went down with a likely season-ending injury. Watching it live was gut-wrenching, and it’s horrible to see any player get injured out on the field.

It will be a massive loss for the Vols without Bru going forward. Still, if Squirrel White can pick up the slack like he did this weekend, I’m not too worried about it impacting the season’s future.

According to Tennessee Football on Twitter:

"“Bru McCoy underwent successful surgery this morning after suffering a fracture-dislocation of his right ankle on Saturday Night. Bru and his family appreciate all of your prayers and support since last night and in the days ahead. Bru has displayed unwavering toughness, character, and leadership as a Vol on and off the field, and he now begins the road to recovery determined to make this just a minor setback on his football Journey.”"
