Tennessee Football at Kentucky: Week 9 Breakdown, Analysis, Predictions
By Blake Wyman
Tennessee Football looks to rebound this weekend against the Kentucky Wildcats after falling short to Alabama last weekend.
For the first half of the Alabama game, I really had hope, but there’s not a team in the country that can let Alabama have 27 unanswered points in the second half and come out victorious. The Vols were up 20-7 at halftime and completely blew the best opportunity they had at making the college football playoffs. Analysis and Predictions
It doesn’t get much better than a night game in Lexington, and for the Wildcats, this is going to feel like their Super Bowl. Kentucky and Tennessee Football’s rivalry goes back centuries, and after the beatdown the Vols put on them last year, it’s safe to say that Kentucky wants this game… bad.
The Vols are coming off of a heartbreaking loss to Alabama last week, so there’s going to be revenge on their minds from that game too. This loss isn’t sitting well with the Vols, and it’s clear that they are going to come out angry on Saturday. I have a feeling this is going to be a close game, but the Volunteers will come out on top.
Prediction: Tennessee 35, Kentucky 28
Betting Picks: Tennessee -3.5, Over 51.5
