Tennessee football survived another week against Kentucky and continues to hang around near the top of the SEC standings with only one conference loss on the season. Meanwhile, Georgia continues to handle business, and Texas was off last week as it prepares for its final stretch in its inaugural SEC season.

On the other hand, Texas A&M suffered its first SEC loss at the hands of South Carolina one week after beating LSU to take the top spot in the conference. This loss creates more shakeup within the conference and opens both spots in the SEC Championship wide open to anyone in the top five.

The top two teams make the SEC Championship with the updated conference format. There are no more divisions, which means anyone can make the SEC Championship if they finish as one of the top two teams in the conference. Here is how the conference shakes out after Week Ten.

Winners

South Carolina is the biggest winner coming out of the weekend. Once again, the Gamecocks throw a wrench in a contender's season in November. They dominated Texas A&M and could do the same this weekend and end Vanderbilt's magical season to this point in the year.

Ole Miss is another winner coming out of Week Ten. The Rebels scored nine touchdowns en route to a dominant win over SEC rival, the Arkansas Razorbacks. They improve to 7-2 and look to reinsert themselves in the College Football Playoff picture.

Vanderbilt continues to win. It isn't always pretty, but they are winning conference games after conference games. This time, they defeated Auburn to continue their winning season and SEC record.

Losers

Texas A&M is the biggest loser coming out of the weekend. They came into Week 10 looking like contenders and exited the week looking like pretenders.

Auburn continues to struggle in Year Two of the Hugh Freeze era. The Tigers can't find an SEC win and remain at the bottom of the conference.

Kentucky is in a similar spot to Auburn. The Wildcats beat Ole Miss early in the season, but that's their only SEC win so far this season. They are on the verge of going another season under .500.

Week 11 in the SEC

Six SEC matchups are on tap for Week 11. The weekend is headlined by Georgia vs. Ole Miss and Alabama vs. LSU, but some underrated games could be South Carolina vs. Vanderbilt and Florida vs. Texas. Tennessee and Mississippi State are scheduled to kick off at 6:00 PM ET on ESPN.
