It's officially flip season, as we are less than one month away from the Early Signing Period getting here. This is both good and bad news for the Tennessee football team, as Josh Heupel is hoping to change the minds of some targets, while he also could lose some commits.

Where Tennessee lands in bowl projections coming out of the bye week

Thankfully, the Vols head coach doesn't have to worry about 5-star offensive lineman Gabriel Osenda, who has been committed to Tennessee since January. Throughout the fall, there had been plenty of speculation that the in-state tackle might end up signing elsewhere. That's not going to happen, as Osenda told Riley Alberts of 'cfbralb' on Instagram that he's locked in with the SEC powerhouse.

5-star OT Gabriel Osenda has shut down flip rumors leading up to the Early Signing Period

We don't have to tell you that this is incredible news for Heupel. Once Georgia missed out on Jackson Cantwell, who committed to Miami, there was fear that Kirby Smart was going to go all-in to try to get Osenda to have a change of heart.

That was a worry for Tennessee fans, but Osenda is planning to sign with Tennessee in December and then make his way to campus soon enough. He's ranked five stars and the No. 4 OT in the country according to 247Sports. The 6-7, 330-pounder is a playmaker for the Baylor School in Chattanooga.

Tennessee on the verge of losing 4-star WR commit Legend Bey to Ohio State

While the Osenda update is fantastic for Heupel, not everything is perfect. In case you missed it, Steve Wiltfong put in his official prediction over the weekend for 4-star Tennessee receiver commit Legend Bey to decommit from Tennessee and sign with Ohio State instead.

The Texas speedster was in Columbus for the Ohio State vs. Penn State game and the Buckeyes clearly turned his head. He committed to the Vols in June, but now it's up in the air if he's going to be Knoxville-bound or not. Heupel and Co. could look to get him on campus again for another visit, but Ohio State appears to be in the driver's seat right now.
