Things are just feeling wonderful for Tennessee football right now on the recruiting trail. Remember last week when the Vols missed out on elite prospects Savion Hiter and Darius Gray? Yeah, who gives a crap about that right now? In case you missed it, 5-star receiver Tristen Keys flipped to Tennessee.

The nation's No. 1 wide receiver knew in his heart that Knoxville is where he needs to play his college ball instead of playing for LSU. That's not the only peice of good news Josh Heupel and his staff have received in recent days, though this one isn't a new commitment.

Instead, it's the fact that 5-star running back David Gabriel Georges told Hayes Fawcett that six schools are standing out in his recruitment. Of those six, though, three are on his mind the most: Tennessee, Ohio State and Georgia:

Obviously, there's a long way to go before Georges commits and signs with his college of choice. However, you've got to love Tennessee's chances here. Georges is a standout for the Baylor School in Chattanooga. Sound familar?

It's where 5-star Tennessee offensive tackle commit Gabriel Osenda is playing. This week, Osenda told us that he's going to try and make it to Knoxville for every home game this campaign, including the one in Week 3 against Georgia. Could he end up bringing Georges along for the ride?

That remains to be seen, but it's big for Tennessee that Osenda is on campus and he can get in Georges' ear a little bit about potentially joining him with the SEC side down the road. That's not going to be easy, as Ohio State and Georgia are surely going to put in serious work to turn his head as well.

According to the 247Sports Composite, Georges is ranked five stars, the No. 3 running back in the country and the No. 34 prospect nationally for his class. He's already at 33 offers and that number should grow during his junior season. Look for Heupel and the Vols to work to get him on campus for an unofficial visit as soon as possible.
