Tennessee football's wide receiver room already has a big question mark lingering over it throughout Fall Camp. They are missing a few receivers recovering from injury, and now Chris Brazzell could miss key time on the field after his weekend arrest.

Knox News' Adam Sparks shared that Brazzell was arrested on Friday for driving on a suspended license and speeding.

Sparks shared that Tennessee knows about the arrest but didn't share a comment at the time of publishing. "We are aware of the traffic stop involving Chris Brazzell II and have no further comment at this time," the UT spokesperson shared.

Brazzell hasn't received many reps in practice due to injury, but he has been present. If he misses practices for this, it could put the Vols' receiver room in an even worse spot, with less than a few weeks to go before Tennessee takes the field in its season opener.

He is also one of the few veterans in the Vols' receiver room this year, returning after having 29 receptions for 333 yards and two touchdowns last season.

Assuming Brazzell misses practice time, or is held back in practice or Week One as a result of his arrest, Tennessee could go into Week One with only two receivers on the roster with college football playing time.

Many freshmen and walk-on receivers have carried the load through training camp so far this year, and that trend could continue with Brazzell's return unclear and his potential limitations, putting the coaching staff in a tough spot while also navigating a quarterback battle.

The Vols' season opener will take place on August 30 in Atlanta, Georgia, for the Aflac Kickoff against Syracuse, with kickoff scheduled for 12:00 PM.
