The Tennessee-Georgia rivalry has intensified over the past couple of years as Tennessee seeks to establish itself as a national contender, while Georgia aims to maintain its dominance and secure a third national championship under Kirby Smart.
Despite Georgia's success and Tennessee's rise, the trash talk isn't slowing down. Country singer/songwriter Greylan James joined the Paul Finebaum Show to talk about the upcoming season and the rivalry from the perspective of a born and raised Tennessee fan.
"I love when Fall comes around and talking crap to my buddies because there are so many Georgia fans down here," James said on Friday. "Even when I golf with [Georgia fans] during football season, I just can't get over the grown men barking at me. That just hits on a level that I don't understand."
James didn't hold back, either. He called out Georgia fans Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan, taking a jab at them while also claiming a win because they have to live in Tennessee, which is the home of country music.
"They're not just barking at you, they're winning," he continued. "Jason [Aldean] and Luke [Bryan] are wearing $40,000 watches while they are also, their team is just killing us. It must be painful for Georgia fans, Alabama fans, and rivals of Tennessee that they have to live in Tennessee because Nashville is here and they have to be in our state."
"They're wearing $40K watches...and they're beating us."

The Tennessee-Georgia rivalry has typically been pretty close over the years. Georgia holds a 29-23-1 advantage over the Vols. Georgia's dominance in the rivalry is the first time it has been one-sided since Tennessee's dominance throughout the 1990s, winning every game against Georgia during that decade.
The Vols and Bulldogs will continue this Fall as the two programs are scheduled to meet in Week Three. Tennessee will host Georgia this year as they look to get their first win against the Bulldogs since 2016.
They will meet in Neyland Stadium this year, and the game is set to air on ABC at 3:30 PM ET in the early-season matchup.
