The wait is finally over for Tennessee Vols running back Dylan Sampson. On Friday, there were plenty of disappointed people when the second and third rounds of the NFL Draft arrived and Sampson somehow didn't hear his name called.

A lot of us thought he'd be a Day 2 pick at worst. However, the good news is that Sampson is officially off the board, as the Cleveland Browns drafted him with the No. 126 overall pick. Keep in mind that the Browns drafted Ohio State's Quinshon Judkins in the second round too.

So, what does this mean for the Cleveland RBs room? That it's starting to get a little crowded. With both Judkins and Sampson getting ready to make the move to Cleveland, it has plenty of Browns fans convinced that this means team great Nick Chubb is out the door and he'll sign with a new team in free agency.

Ian Rapoport reported on Friday the two teams are still talking, but now it's almost a lock he'll head elsewhere, right? This is nothing for Sampson to worry about, as the reigning SEC Offensive Player of the Year will be ready to put on a show with his new squad.

Dylan Sampson was drafted in the fourth round by the Cleveland Browns

Sampson is coming off an incredible season with the Vols. Nico Iamaleava looked strong, but this offense was no question led by the star running back. Sampson played a monumental role in the team going 10-2 during the regular season and reaching the College Football Playoff.

In his brilliant senior season, Sampson broke plenty of records while rushing for 1,491 yards and a mind-blowing 22 touchdowns. As soon as he was drafted, ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. hyped him up in the best way possible, while reminding people that Sampson still needs to clean up some fumble issues he had in 2024.

Despite that, Sampson was quite dependable for Tennessee and he always had people at Neyland Stadium off their feet. A hamstring injury ended his UT career in the worst way possible, with him not being able to make an impact in the CFP loss to Ohio State. With that said, people all over Tennessee have a ton of love for him and they're excited to see what he'll be able to do with the Browns.
