While Tennessee football fans are still riding the high of a tremendous 2025 signing class, that doesn't mean everything is all good for head coach Josh Heupel. This time of the year, there's always going to be some roster movement, especially with the transfer portal opening up.

Offensive lineman Vysen Lang was the first player to announce his intentions to transfer and he now has some company on the list. Sophomore Kaleb Webb posted a quiet regular season for the Vols, leading to his playing days in Knoxville being over. On Thursday, news dropped that the speedster won't be back next campaign:

Tennessee Vols WR Kaleb Webb is planning to enter the transfer portal

This doesn't come as a massive surprise, as Webb was buried on the depth chart and he didn't see a ton of playing time in 2024. During the regular season, the 6-3, 205-pounder finished with just six receptions for 48 yards and no touchdowns.

In the 36-23 win over Vanderbilt, he posted one reception for four yards. Coming out of high school, Webb was a touted prospect, as he racked up more than 20 offers - Tennessee, Michigan, Louisville, Kentucky, Ole Miss, South Carolina and many others put rides on the table.

He was ranked four stars and the No. 35 wideout in the country according to 247Sports. Things didn't go according to plan for Webb with the Vols, but he'll now be looking for a new place to call home. This won't be a major hit for the Tennessee offense, as things are looking great for 2025 and beyond across the board.

When the portal does open up, though, you can fully expect Heupel and his coaches to take a look at the available talent. Who knows, perhaps a new wideout to replace Webb could be on the way for this team.
