As much as we love watching Tennessee Volunteers players put on a show on Saturdays, it's always incredible to see former playmakers go on and make a ton of noise in the NFL as well. Luckily for Tennessee fans, there are several guys who have looked fantastic in 2024 there.

The list of course includes wide receiver Jauan Jennings. While the wide receivers room is packed in San Francisco, Jennings' No. 15 has been called quite a bit of late due to the serious injury suffered by Brandon Aiyuk.

In the past two weeks, Jennings has been the top target for stud quarterback Brock Purdy. While the 49ers suffered a heartbreaking 20-17 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 11, Jennings was terrific, leading the team with 10 receptions for 91 yards and a touchdown.

Jennings is building incredible chemistry with Purdy, which is only going to get better the rest of the campaign. Last year, SF won the NFC, but fell short against the Chiefs in the Super Bowl. They're hoping to get back to the big game this winter and Jennings will surely play a role for this team if they go on a deep run.

Jennings came up with plenty of incredible plays for the Vols during his time in Knoxville. Of course, the best play of his career was when he came down with a Hail Mary TD against Georgia. Joshua Dobbs put the ball up for grabs and Jennings, in epic fashion, posted the miraculous score.

Earlier this season for the 49ers, he put the league on notice with his monster game against the Rams: 11 catches for 175 yards and three touchdowns. He's quietly having a 2024 to remember, which is something people all over Tennessee are happy to see. Jennings will always have Vols fans in his corner, no doubt about that.
