Four-star offensive lineman commits to Tennessee
Tennessee is coming off back-to-back rivalry wins and massive recruiting weekends in front of dozens of potential class of 2025 and 2026 recruits.
Four-star offensive tackle Brandon Anderson was among the many recruits visiting Rocky Top on Saturday for the Third Saturday in October. Less than 24 hours after seeing Tennessee upset Alabama, he announced his commitment.
The class of 2026 blue-chip interior lineman was scheduled to announce his commitment in December but said he couldn't wait after visiting Tennessee.
"I committed to Tennessee on Saturday," Anderson told On3. "They showed a lot of love, and the talks they had with my mom showed me a lot. That is why I went ahead and committed.
Anderson said Tennessee has led from the start of his recruiting process, and a big reason he decided to commit was because of the coaches and team, but the fan support during Saturday's game also played a big factor.
"Tennessee has led from the start. Since they offered, they were No. 1 on my list. I committed because of the coaches and the team ... The love from the fans stands out. In their win over Alabama, the play by the offensive line, the coaching, and the noise stood out. It was amazing. Tennessee has one of the best atmospheres in the country."
The six-foot-five, 330-pound lineman from Acworth, Georgia, will likely be a top-20 offensive lineman in the class when he officially commits to Tennessee on signing day. He's only a sophomore in high school, so neither 247 Sports nor On3 Sports have an official rating for him.
Anderson is the third player in the 2026 recruiting class to commit to Tennessee, joining five-star quarterback Faizon Brandon and four-star tight end Carson Sneed.
