Remember last week when just about everything went Tennessee football's way? Well, more good news came in for the Vols, as they took down Vanderbilt in the regular season finale, and the team also saw Ohio State suffer an embarrassing home loss to Michigan. Miami also lost to Syracuse. Wow.

Will that be enough for Tennessee to climb up even more in the new College Football Playoff rankings? We're about to find out, as the fifth edition of the rankings release show is here on Tuesday night.

Last week, Tennessee checked in at No. 8, projected to take on Georgia in the first round. We know that's not going to happen, however. If you're ready to watch things live tonight, we've got you covered on how to do so.

What time is the College Football Playoff rankings show tonight?

Will Tennessee jump Ohio State in the new CFP rankings?

For Tennessee Vols fans, the big question they have in mind is will the Vols pass Ohio State in the new rankings? In taking a look at some of the latest projections, some analysts think Tennessee will move up from No. 8, but then eventually fall to No. 9 due to the seedings for conference title winners.

If that ends up being the case, Tennessee would then be on the road for the first round of the playoff. There's still some hope, though, that one more game will be played at Neyland Stadium. It's on the committee to make that happen.
