Former Tennessee quarterback Joe Milton took over at quarterback in the earned the New England Patriots' Week 18 game and immediately lit up the Buffalo Bills defense. They are eliminated from playoff contention but have the opportunity to play spoiler against the playoff-bound Buffalo Bills in the final week of the season.

Milton opened the game's first drive by going six for six through the air for 51 yards and capped it off with a rushing touchdown. He hit a backflip to celebrate, and that's when the internet started to take notice.

He followed that up with a 48-yard touchdown pass on a dart as he rolled out of the pocket and navigated the Bills' defense in the open field. This led Barstool Sports to ask the question, "How many first-round picks would teams trade for Joe Milton?"

There is no better time to put together a performance of a lifetime in your first career start than the final week of the regular season for a bottom-feeder team looking to stockpile draft picks.

Teams looking for a quarterback next year could see Milton as an enticing piece to add to its roster, looking to make a splash trade with little to lose if it doesn't work out.

Regardless, fans are loving Milton's performance in the first half of the game. They are comparing him to prime Tom Brady, and there's no better place Milton could be than where he's at right now, lighting up the Bills' defense.

Milton might cost the Patriots the No. 1 pick in the 2025 draft, but it might be worth it if he turns out to be the Patriots' next quarterback. People are loving his performance, and he is 12 for 13 for 159 yards, with one passing touchdown and one rushing touchdown through the first half of the game.
