Tennessee football already has the commitment of a blue-chip quarterback in the 2026 recruiting class, and Josh Heupel is also looking to add one of the best linemen in the class.

2026 five-star offensive lineman Darius Gray officially visited Rocky Top over the weekend. This is Gray's third visit to Tennessee. He previously visited for last year's UTEP game and during Spring practice.

The Richmond, Virginia, native seemingly enjoyed his weekend in Knoxville and declared the Vols are "at the top" of his list after the visit.

" My [official visit] to Tennessee was great," Gray said. "What excites me is to play for a program like this and a supportive fan base and help them win as many games as possible!"

While Gray is being recruited by several programs, including LSU, South Carolina, Clemson, Michigan, and Ohio State, which are all at or near the top of his board, although he is excited about the prospect of playing for Tennessee.

"They stand at the top of my board," Gray said. "What makes it special is the people in that building!" This would be a massive pickup for the Vols, who already have two five-star players in its 2026 recruiting class.

Tennessee has commitments from five-star quarterback Faizon Brandon and five-star offensive tackle Gabriel Osenda, so adding Gray could be the beginning of a vital recruiting class for the Vols' future national championship hopes.

The Vols have eight commitments in the 2026 recruiting class so far, and more recruiting visits are lined up throughout June and later this summer as Heupel and the Vols look to fill out their class before the college football season begins.
