Stoops is not happy right now.

You've probably seen this sequence quite a few times already, but Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops remains livid over what happened in Knoxville. We're talking about when UK quarterback Brock Vandagriff went to the sidelines and Tennessee Volunteers star Omarr Norman-Lott got away with a shove on him upstairs.

Should it have been a penalty on Norman-Lott? Maybe. However, it sure looks like he was just trying to keep Vandagriff away from him - immediately after the QB hit the turf, Norman-Lott pleaded his innocence with the official and no flag was thrown.

However, far after the loss for the Wildcats, Stoops isn't holding back with his thoughts on things. While speaking to reporters on Wednesday, he revealed he has sent this play to the SEC office for them to take a look at. Stoops didn't blast Norman-Lott directly, but he also didn't mince words when discussing what happened.

Mark Stoops has called out the Tennessee Vols over a missed call in Week 10

"It is something I sent into the SEC office. That’s it, I can’t even tell you what was said or the information that I got back. I’ll just say, in general — not about that player but in general — there is no place for anybody striking anybody in the head at any place. Before after, during, anytime during a game."

Again, Stoops didn't take direct issue with Norman-Lott, but he said there's 'no place' for anyone to get hit in the head like this at any point. Let's be real here, though, it's not like a vicious hit was posted. Norman-Lott appeared to just try and prevent the Wildcats signal-caller from crashing into him.

How else was he supposed to react? Depending on which clip of the play you take a look at, it might seem like it was a dirty incident, but we respectfully disagree and believe Norman-Lott didn't have any bad intentions here. Stoops can complain all he wants, but it's not going to take away from the fact that his team lost 28-18, fair and square.
