With the 2025 NFL Draft inching closer, there are obviously a ton of eyes on Tennessee football pass-rusher James Pearce Jr., as he has the potential to be a Top 15 pick in late April. However, he's not the only stud Vols defenseman who is ready to make an impact at the next level.

One player in particular who has been flying under the radar of late has been UT defensive lineman Omarr Norman-Lott. Norman-Lott is coming off a strong season for head man Josh Heupel and defensive coordinator Tim Banks.

Could the 6-3, 315-pounder hear his name called earlier than expected? That's something that should happen if you ask Mel Kiper Jr. and Field Yates, as they named the Tennessee standout among their most underrated prospects leading up to the draft:

Field Yates ended up taking the lead on describing what makes Norman-Lott such a special player, with Kiper fully agreeing with him. If you ask those two, Norman-Lott should strongly be considered a Top 100 player for his draft class, as he's hoping to be a Day 2 pick.

Norman-Lott finished with four sacks this past campaign, giving opposing offensive linemen all sorts of trouble from start to finish throughout the year. Norman-Lott is now focused on turning heads during the NFL Combine, where he'll look to boost his stock even more than where it's at now.

He's not a splashy player or a big-name guy by any means, but Tennessee fans will be the first to tell you that he was a joy to watch in recent seasons. Whenever the Vols needed someone to deliver for them, he was ready to make a play alongside Pearce. Norman-Lott has what it takes to be a stud player at the next level and he'll be ready to make a franchise look smart by taking a risk on him.
