Mike Keith's Tennessee football debut has been just as anticipated as the rest of the Vols football 2025 season debut, and he has not disappointed in the season opener.

He has a few calling cards that Vols fans have been dying to hear, including his sack call, made famous over the past two decades, calling Tennessee Titans games.

His calls are electric and will fire up Tennessee fans every time he makes them, but Keith's first sack call of the year was nothing less than perfection.

Vol Network didn't wait too long to share his next sack call across its social media platforms, courtesy of Edwin Spillman for his first sack of the season.

Keith called the Vol Network job a dream job of his, and it's clear he's having a blast calling Vols football games, where he first began his radio broadcasting career as a student.

"The University of Tennessee is a job that is one of one," Keith shared after being named the new Voice of the Vols. "There's no other job like it in the United States. There's no other fanbase like it in the United States."

The season opener has been a big one for Tennessee's offense, and Joey Aguilar, opening the first half with 31 points and 336 total first-half yards, with 176 passing yards to begin the Aguilar era on Rocky Top.

Not only did he have a perfect sack call for Arion Carter's first sack of the season, but he also had an amazing touchdown call on Aguilar's 73-yard touchdown pass to Braylon Staley.

Between Mike Keith's calls, the Vols' lockdown defense, and the new-look offense with Aguilar running the show, it's safe to say Tennessee fans are pleased with the upgrades made with the captain in the booth and the captain on the field.
