In the end, it's safe to say Tennessee baseball star Andrew Fischer got the best revenge possible on Wake Forest head coach Tom Walter. In case you missed it, the ESPN cameras caught Walter directing a homophobic slur at Fischer, which he ended up apologizing for.

Don't forget, though, that right after this happened, Fischer sent a delivery to deep right field for a 2-run bomb. It was just sensational. Now, there's a new angle of the Fischer blast from the stands and it somehow makes the Tennessee win over Wake Forest even better.

Andrew Fischer had Tennessee fans off their feet with his huge 2-run homer

Come on, that's just amazing right there. As soon as you heard his bat make contact, you had a feeling that ball was out of there. Thankfully it was and Tennessee was able to extend its lead, eventually posting a lopsided victory.

Shortly after the game on Monday night, Fischer sent a passionate message to Vols fans and he let everyone know that this team is going to do everything it can to keep the good memories going. Next up is the super regional, with Arkansas on the schedule. Game 1 is on Saturday.

Game 2 is set for Sunday and Game 3, if it's necessary, will come on Monday. Tennessee is the No. 14 overall seed, while the Razorbacks are No. 3. With No. 1 Vanderbilt and No. 2 Texas already being eliminated, Arkansas is the highest seed remaining.

The Vols would love nothing more than to pull off a bit of an upset in Fayetteville. UT is the reigning national champs and they're ready for this dream season to continue. Tony Vitello is confident in his standouts, but Arkansas is entering this series with plenty of pep in its step too. Both teams are hungry to end the other's season. Time to see what Fischer and the Vols are made of.
