This loss is going to sting for quite some time. On Saturday night, the Tennessee Vols football team was hoping to post an upset against Ohio State, but close to nothing went right on both sides of the ball. In the end, Ohio State recorded a 42-17 win. The Buckeyes owned the field.

Fair play to them, as Tennessee simply couldn't stop their offense from putting on a show. With all the Vols fans in the stands for this one, they unfortunately became an easy target with things going south for Josh Heupel and his players. Ohio State took advantage of this, trolling them in the worst way possible:

Ohio State played a Rocky Top remix while saying goodbye to Tennessee

Playing a Rocky Top remix while saying goodbye to the Tennessee players and supporters? Yeah, that's next-level trolling from the Buckeyes. Unfortunately, there's not much that people heading back to Knoxville can say, as Ohio State dominated the action.

In the first quarter alone, the Buckeyes jumped out to a 21-0 lead. It was almost unbelievable. What was infuriating too was that OSU posted 205 total yards in the first 15 minutes of action, while the Vols were held to just 16.

It sucked that star running back Dylan Sampson was sidelined for the majority of the first half with a hamstring injury, but that doesn't take away from the fact that Ohio State was ready to rock in this one, and Tennessee wasn't. The Buckeyes had way more energy and it took the Vols way too long to wake up.

This feeling right now stings and loads of folks are furious with Heupel. While it's fair to be disappointed in Saturday's result, don't forget that Tennessee was picked to finish seventh in the SEC this year, yet posted a 10-2 mark during the regular season and made the College Football Playoff for the first time in program history. Plenty to be proud of, even if the loss feels like a setback.
