Chas Nimrod

6'3" 220 lbs; which receiver do you think that is? No, not Bru McCoy, that is actually Chas Nimrod. He gained 24 lbs this offseason, which is ridiculous for a receiver.

Chas doesn't seem like one you would label as an unknown, as he played in seven games and recorded 19 receptions, 194 yards, and 1 TD, while being labeled as a general disappointment from the fanbase.

However, through the first week of camp, Nimrod has been receiving a lot of quiet hype. VFL and local radio host Jayson Swain had this to say on his radio show, "Chas Nimrod is a name you guys need to know. He's not getting a lot of talk, but you're hearing me say it. ... You've heard me say it for the last several weeks: I really like his game."

Josh Heupel also added to the Nimrod conversation after the first day of spring practice, noting that he has put in a lot of effort in the weight room and can play both inside and outside, which gives the offense a lot of versatility.

Even with a somewhat crowded receiver room of Bru McCoy, Chris Brazzell II, Squirrel White, Donte Thornton, and Mike Matthews, don't be surprised if Nimrod breaks into the rotation earlier and more often than expected.
