Tennessee football is gearing up for its season opener against Chattanooga, but Josh Heupel and the Vols will have the opportunity to make the College Football Playoff if they can win a few key games this year. 

It's unlikely the Vols will go undefeated in the first season of the Nico Iamaleava era, but Heupel has proved he can get the most out of his quarterbacks, which gives Tennessee fans hope he can lead the Vols to the CFP for the first time in program history. 

Two of the three games the Vols must win are SEC games, while the third is a non-conference game and the first "must-win" game on the schedule. Let's take a look at the three games Tennessee must win in 2024.
