Must-Win Game 1: vs North Carolina State

Tennessee football will be tested early in the season thanks to an SEC schedule agreement that requires each team to play a power five opponent in addition to its eight conference games. 

The Vols will face North Carolina State this season in Charlotte, North Carolina, and it won't be easy to win. The Wolfpack are expected to have a big season, with the potential to win the ACC and be a College Football Playoff team. 

If Nico and the Vols want to prove they're CFP-worthy early, they have to win this non-conference matchup against one of the best teams in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
