Tennessee was involved in Eric Dailey's recruitment out of high school but weren't big players last year. Dailey ultimately chose Oklahoma State over Florida State, Kansas, and Kentucky. He chose to visit, commit, and sign with Oklahoma State after a visit from John Calipari, so the Cowboys made a strong impression from the recruit out of Florida.

He didn't have a bad freshman season with the Cowboys. Dailey averaged 9.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game, shooting 49.6% from the field and 33.3% from three in 22.3 minutes per game.

"Average length for a combo forward but has tremendous strength and density," 247Sports' Jerry Meyer wrote about Dailey. "Can control space around the basket and in the paint. Jumps extremely well when on the move.

"Has average quickness laterally on the defensive end. Is a lefty with a reliable jumper from three. Can attack the basket on a few dribbles. Has some nifty moves in the midrange area. Overall, an average ball handler and solid passer. Is a good rebounder and has some defensive versatility."

The 6-foot-8 forward played multiple roles for Oklahoma State in his first season. He split the season between starting and bench/role-player roles. Throughout the season, he was considered a "spark plug" offensively when coming off the bench and will be a strong addition to whatever team he goes to next.
