Jamal Lewis was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in 2000 and made an immediate impact as a rookie. He rushed for 1,300 yards and helped the Ravens win Super Bowl 35. He finished second in Offensive Rookie of the Year voting and missed his second season with a knee injury.
His best season came in 2003 when he rushed for 2,066 and 14 touchdowns. He led the league in rushing that year and earned his only Pro Bowl appearance, All-Pro honor, and Offensive Player of the Year recognition in his career.
Lewis spent nine seasons in the NFL, totaling 10,607 rushing yards and 58 touchdowns. Although he only had one Pro Bowl and All-Pro appearance, he finished his career as a Super Bowl champion, the 2003 PFWA NFL MVP, 2003 AP and PFWA Offensive Player of the Year, and the HOF All-2000s Team.
