Every Tennessee football top 10 NFL draft pick
Tennessee football has had 14 players enter the NFL Draft and be selected in the top ten, including a Hall of Famer.
John Henderson was drafted by the Jaguars in 2002. He developed into one of the best defensive linemen in the NFL in his eight years in Jacksonville. He played ten years in the NFL, totaling 492 career tackles, 29 sacks, and eight forced fumbles.
He started his career on the right track, recording 6.5 sacks as a rookie, the most he would ever record in a single season. He earned two Pro Bowl selections and was virtually unblockable from 2004-2006. He was also named to the NFL All-Pro team in 2006.
Henderson was also named to the Jaguars All-25 team, being named the 10th-best player in franchise history by Jacksonville. After eight years in Jacksonville, Henderson moved on to the Oakland Raiders for the next two seasons before retiring.
