Every Tennessee football top 10 NFL draft pick
Antone Davis spent seven seasons in the NFL. He was drafted by the Eagles and spent five seasons in Philadelphia before returning home to Georgia to play his final two seasons for the Atlanta Falcons. He had the opportunity to learn from the best in Philly, lining up against former Tennessee Vol Reggie White every day in practice for his first two seasons.
He was named to the 1991 NFL All-Rookie Team after starting 15 games as a rookie at right tackle. He did that without committing a single penalty. In fact, Pro Football Reference has Davis recording only four penalties in his career, and they all came in 1995.
Davis returned to Tennessee after his playing career and managed the VFL Program. The Vol For Life program, founded in 2012, provides comprehensive player support and character education. Davis served as the head of the VFL program until 2017.
