Tennessee baseball's matchup in the College World Series Finals is set with Texas A&M's 6-0 win over Florida. Both Tennessee and Texas A&M cruised to victory to advance out of their brackets and clinch their spot in the CWS Finals.

Each team comes out of the SEC and has eclipsed the 50-win mark this season. The Vols come into the series 56-12 with a 22-8 conference record, while Texas A&M has a 51-13 record and went 19-11 in conference.

The Vols and Aggies have played one game this season, and that came in the SEC Tournament in Hoover, Alabama. Tennessee won the matchup 7-4, marking their first win of the tournament. They went on to sweep the remaining games on their schedule to win the tournament championship.

While Tennessee and A&M have only played one game against each other this season, the coaches are more familiar with each other. A&M head coach Jim Schlossnagle hired Tony Vitello as an assistant coach at TCU in 2010, where he spent three seasons.

Chris Stamos started the lone matchup against A&M and pitched a season-high 3.1 innings before handing the ball over to AJ Causey, who got the win. Kavares Tears and Christian Moore dominated at the plate, getting six of Tennessee's ten hits.

The Aggies bullpen was not nearly as successful against the hot Tennessee bats. Ryan Prater started the game and pitched a season-low 2.1 innings. The Aggies pitched five pitchers throughout the game, with Prager and Tanner Jones going the longest, only recording seven outs each.

Coming into the CWS Finals, Tennessee averages 9.2 runs per game and 10.0 runs in the postseason, compared to A&M's 8.7 runs and 11.0 runs in the playoffs. The Vols have the upper hand at the plate, which could be a huge advantage against the Aggies' bullpen.

Both teams are pretty similar on the mound. Tennessee allows 4.1 runs per game and 5.0 runs in the playoffs, while A&M allows 4.4 runs and 5.0 runs in the playoffs. Both teams have settled in on the mound in recent games, including dominant pitching performances to advance to the Finals.

Tennessee and A&M are also undefeated coming into the Finals. Both teams swept their bracket 3-0 on their way to the championship series. A&M beat Florida twice and Kentucky once, while Tennessee beat Florida State twice and North Carolina once.

Texas A&M has scored 14 runs while allowing only three runs in their three CWS games. Their pitching staff has been dominant, while Tennessee has been elite at the plate. The Vols have scored 25 runs and allowed 14 runs through their three CWS games.

The Vols and Aggies will start the three-game series on Saturday night at 7:30 PM ET on ESPN from Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Nebraska. Game 2 will be Sunday at 2:00 PM ET on ABC, and if there's a Game 3, it will be Monday at 7:00 PM ET on ESPN.
