5. Alabama Crimson Tide

The Kalen DeBoer era won't be nearly as bad as year one under Nick Saban, but it won't quite exceed Alabama fans' expectations for the Tide during any given season. The Tide will likely find a spot in the College Football Playoffs, but a stacked SEC has them finishing fifth. 

Alabama will play Georgia in the regular season for the first time since Kirby Smart was named the head coach in Athens. Alabama likely won't win that game, and I don't think they win their return to Neyland, either. That means Alabama needs to be perfect for the rest of its schedule to hopefully make the CFP.
