14. South Carolina Gamecocks

South Carolina has exceeded expectations throughout Shane Beamer's tenure as the Gamecocks' head coach. They've made a bowl game two out of Beamer's three seasons in Columbia but saw a drop in success last season, finishing the year 5-7 and missing the postseason.

The Gamecocks don't have to worry about playing Tennessee this year, but the Vols were replaced with Ole Miss, Alabama, and Oklahoma. With a tough SEC schedule, South Carolina will have trouble building momentum throughout conference play. 

SC will have to hope to get back to a bowl game in 2025 because they will go 5-7 again this season, with their only SEC win coming against Vanderbilt.
