Tennessee baseball wrapped up its 2024 season at Lindsey-Nelson Stadium with an emphatic win over Evansville. The Vols won two out of three against the Aces in the super-regional round to keep their season alive and advance to the College World Series for the second straight season.

The super-regional final wasn't nearly as dramatic as the first two games, with the Vols cruising to a 12-1 victory. After securing the win, the Tennessee baseball X/Twitter account shared a "Moneyball" moment with music from the hit movie over a video of the team celebrating their victory.

It was a special moment at a special place for many fans and players. LNS will look a little different next year, with major renovations planned for the offseason. You could see the construction equipment right outside the stadium during the SEC broadcasts, so this is the last time Tennessee will play a game in its current configuration.

Tennessee Athletics has one of the best social media teams in the country, and it shows once again with this video. Between the football, basketball, and baseball programs' social media teams in recent years, they have been knocking it out of the park (pun intended), and the super regional celebration has been no different.

The Vols have been the talk of the town over the past couple of days, with Tony Vitello's post-game comments after the series win and other social media posts. If I know this program, it won't be the last we hear from them or their bats at the plate.

The Vols are heading back to Omaha for the third time in the past four seasons, including back-to-back trips to the men's College World Series. Tennessee will face Florida State on Friday night in their first game back in Omaha at 7 PM ET on ESPN.
