Tennessee basketball odds to win 2025 National Championship
The Connecticut Huskies won their second-straight national championship on Monday night with a win over Purdue but don't have the highest odds to win next year's title. Although the season just ended, it's never too early to look at next season's odds.
Tennessee basketball will look pretty different next season, and the Vegas oddsmakers are telling us they expect the Vols to struggle to replace the production they had this season. Fanduel has released its odds for the 2025 National Champion, and the Vols fall outside of the top ten in the initial odds to win it all next season.
The Duke Blue Devils have the best odds to win next year's title at +1100. Kansas has the second-best odds at +1200, and UConn is tied with Alabama, Houston, and North Carolina for the third-best odds at +1500.
Tennessee is outside the top ten in odds to win the 2025 National Championship. They are tied for 13th best odds to win it all next season and share +3600 odds with the Texas Longhorns. Rick Barnes' Vols are going to look a lot different than they did this season, and based on these odds, Vegas is expecting them to take a dip next year.
Tennessee has three starters graduating; a few others have jumped into the transfer portal during the spring window. The portal will be open through the end of April, so there could be a lot of movement with Tennessee bringing in players to replace those who are deciding to leave. Tennessee also only has one high school commitment, so it will not have as much depth as it did this year.
As of April 10, Zakai Zeigler and Jonas Aidoo are the only two starters returning, so the Vols will have to look to the portal and their bench to replace the production they had this past season. Here are the ten teams with the highest odds to win the National Championship next season.
