Tennessee football is preparing to put on a show on and off the football field for fans this season. The Vols have a revamped team on both sides of the ball and are ready to compete with the top teams in the SEC for a spot in Atlanta and the expanded College Football Playoffs.

The Vols could also be preparing to debut a new drone show for home games. Tennessee football shared a short clip of the drones at work on Saturday night above Neyland Stadium.

The drone show was put together to welcome freshmen to campus ahead of the new school year, but don't be surprised if a version of this drone show makes its way to gameday with more than 100,000 raucous Tennessee fans inside Neyland Stadium.

Tennessee has been working on renovating Neyland over the past few years and creating the best gameday environment possible for Tennessee fans. The football team, in return, has given fans 20 wins over two seasons, so despite any previous issues in the gameday experience, fans have plenty to rave about.

Tennessee stepped up its presentation game over the past couple of seasons with the return of the V-O-L-S letters on top of the stadium and the addition of new lights, which has brought a light show with it for night games.

The Vols kick off the 2024 college football season on August 31 against Chattanooga, but if the drone show is going to be part of Tennessee's gameday festivities, fans might have to wait for it to debut when the Vols play their first night game in Neyland Stadium on September 14 against Kent State.
