59. . Round: 4 Pick: 120. . player. . Jaylen Wright. RB. Jaylen Wright. Jaylen Wright (2024 Draft)

The first Tennessee football player taken off the board is running back Jaylen Wright, who was selected by the Miami Dolphins in the fourth round with the 120th pick. The Dolphins traded up to snag the highest-rated Vol on the draft board this year and will likely look to use him immediately in their backfield.

Jaylen Wright rushed for 1,013 yards and 4 touchdowns last season on his way to 2,297 career rushing yards and 18 career touchdowns. He averages over 7 yards per carry and brings speed and quickness, power, and elusiveness to Miami, which is something Dolphins fans are familiar with at the receiver position.

Wright doesn’t have a lot of wear on his tires and could use his speed and power to take the Dolphins offense to the next level. With the speed the Dolphins already have in Miami, Wright will be a welcome addition to the backfield.

47. . Round: 6 Pick: 193. Joe Milton. Joe Milton. Joe Milton (2024 Draft). . QB. player.

Joe Milton is heading to New England to join VFL and first-year head coach Jarod Mayo. The Patriots drafted Milton in the sixth round of this year’s draft and will look to bring the Vols’ gunslinger to compete with Jacoby Brissett and Drake Mayo, who has drafted No. 3 overall.

There’s one thing Milton brings to the Patriots that Brissett and Mayo can’t — unreal arm strength and versatility in the pocket. Milton and Mayo have comparable accuracy numbers so it will be interesting to see how each develop in rookie camp.

While Milton is a 6th round pick, it’s not a guarantee he makes the roster. He will have to compete with the other quarterbacks on the roster to earn a spot throughout the Fall. The Patriots are known to draft pretty good quarterbacks in the sixth round.

. . . Kamal Hadden (2024 Draft). Kamal Hadden. player. 124. Round: 6 Pick: 211. Kamal Hadden. CB

Kamal Hadden is the third Vol taken off the board after the Kansas City Chiefs use their sixth round draft pick to bring the aggressive corner to Chiefs Kingdom. Hadden has the potential to be a future NFL starting corner and could be a value pick in the coming years.

Hadden ended his senior season early due to a season-ending injury but finished the year with a career-high in interceptions after playing in only seven games. He also graded out as one of the best corners in the nation in defensive coverage, according to Pro Football Focus.

Tennessee adds three more VFLs to the NFL through this year's draft and will look to add more in free agency. There are a handful of Vols that will sign with NFL franchises as undrafted free agents as they look for their opportunity to earn a roster spot in the league.
