Tennessee football players not playing in Orange & White Game
Tennessee has had some injuries this Spring, and a handful of Vols are not participating in this year's Orange & White Game. Quite a few Vols are not dressed out and participating in the annual Spring game, while others dressed out and went through pre-game but won't be participating in the scrimmage.
The Vols have 20 players out of the Orange & White Game, 14 of whom are on the offensive side of the ball. On the defensive side of the ball, linebackers Keenan Pili, Arion Carter, and Elijah Herring are out on defense. Tennessee is also facing some injuries on the defensive line and secondary.
Pili is the only player in that group who went through pre-game warmups. Four linebackers were totaled out of the Spring game, the most of any position group on defense.
Tennessee has a deep wide receiver room this year, but there's a lot we will miss out on in the Spring game. Five receivers won't play in the Orange & White game, so the guys who are playing will have an opportunity to continue working up the depth chart and show out in the Vols' explosive offense.
Another group hurting due to injuries is the offensive line. We won't get a full preview of what Tennessee's offensive line will look like this Fall with Senior Center Cooper Mays out of the Spring game with Javontez Spraggins, Jackson Lampley, and others.
Here is a full list of each player on both sides of the ball not participating in this year's Orange & White game.
