Jauan Jennings was a fan favorite on Rocky Top, and he quickly became a favorite in San Fransisco after being drafted in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He just completed his third season in the NFL and hasn't won any big awards or been a Pro Bowl receiver, but he's been a consistent player for the 49ers.
Jennings has totaled 963 receiving yards in his three seasons and seven touchdowns. His impact goes beyond the stat sheet, though. He won't demand a ton of targets or complain he's not the top dawg in the receiver room. He's an old-school physical receiver who isn't afraid to get his hands dirty for the good of the offense.
That's why fans loved him at Tennessee and why he's a favorite throughout The Bay. He's a game-changer for the 49ers, and while he doesn't always impact games with a lot of receiving yards, he's been a big reason the 49ers have been able to find constant success on offense, regardless of what playmakers are available on any given week.
