The Jackson, Tennessee, native dropped all the way to the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Trey Smith was regarded as one of the best offensive tackles in college football but fell in the draft after an issue with blood clots when he was at Tennessee.

That hasn't affected how he has played in Kansas City since being drafted. He's been a staple on the offensive line since his rookie season, appearing in 50 total games over his first three seasons. He was a hidden gem and made the list of greatest Tennessee football hidden gems in the NFL Draft

Smith made the 2021 Pro Football Writers of America All-Rookie Team and has helped the Chiefs win two Super Bowls since entering the league. He also fended off one of the best defensive fronts in Super Bowl LVII. The Philadelphia Eagles had the most sacks in the NFL that season, and Smith gave up zero sacks in the Chiefs' Super Bowl win.
