Alvin Kamara fell to the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft and has taken full advantage of his opportunity in New Orleans. He is regarded as one of the best Tennessee players over the past decade and has transferred that success to the NFL. Our friend Andrew Hughes ranks Kamara as the fifth-best NFL draft pick in Tennessee football history. 

Kamara has been in the league for seven years and earned five Pro Bowls and 2017 Offensive Player of the Year honors from the AP, Pro Football Writers of America, and Sporting News. 

Kamara has totaled 5,829 rushing yards and 54 rushing touchdowns. He also has 4,219 receiving yards and 23 receiving touchdowns. Kamara reached 10,000 total yards this past season with his rushing and receiving yards.

The 2024 NFL Draft will start on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET, where we will see who is drafted in this year's first round. The draft will carry into the weekend as teams continue building out their rookie class on Friday night and Saturday.
