Scott Wells might not have been seen as a franchise center, but he was. After playing in a few games in his rookie season and playing in a few more in year two, he became a full-time starter in year three and was the Green Bay Packers starting center for the next six seasons.

He was a pivotal part of continuing Brett Favre's career in his final years as a Packer and helping Aaron Rodgers get acquainted with the offense as a young quarterback. He also helped Ron Grant reach 1,000 yards as a running back twice.

Our friend Caleb Calhoun even said that Wells was the "steal of the century" in the 2004 draft. Wells spent 11 seasons as an NFL center, with nine of those seasons as a full-time starter. He earned one Pro Bowl, won one Super Bowl, and was the captain of offensive lines that blocked for Favre, Rodgers, and a young Sam Bradford in St. Louis.
