The biggest moment of the offseason has arrived for the Tennessee Vols and Rick Barnes, as they land former Wake Forest guard Juke Harris, one of the top players in the portal. The Vols had already built an impressive roster, but this move puts them over the top. Harris,m a 6-foot-7, 200-pound player, brings a combination of over 20 points a game, ball control, and solid defense, making him a perfect addition to an already elite group.

Pairing Juke Harris with Terrence Hill Jr., Dai Dai Ames, Jalen Haralson, and Tyler Lundblade is just unfair. Rick Barnes has built an elite scoring group. The Tennessee Volunteers men's basketball team had its offensive struggles before, but those days are over. Barnes has completely flipped the script and added five elite scorers to the roster.

Tennessee lands Wake Forest guard Juke Harris
Rick Barnes clearly had an idea going into this offseason, and he's executed flawlessly. The Vols were pedestrian at times last year, scoring the ball, and were dominated by elite teams like Florida and Michigan. This is something Barnes needed to see fixed, and he did. Harris is the absolute best addition out of the bunch, as he has experience at the power-conference level and the stats to back it up. As a sophomore last season, he averaged 21.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.9 assists on 44.4% from the field.
The Vols were ranked No. 11 in ESPN’s way-too-early poll, but that’s about to change with Juke Harris on board. Don’t be surprised if they jump all the way up to No. 2 behind Florida. Rick Barnes is going all-in as he wants that Final Four in Knoxville, and he’s building a roster to get it.
The last step for Tennessee is to get one more big man to solidify the front court. The Vol's already have Miles Rubin and Braedan Lue, but one more big presence wouldn't hurt. Add that, and we could see Tennessee in Detroit next April at Ford Field playing for a national title.
